Meet Gearbo, the Factory’s Favorite Guard Dog

Gearbo Digs! is a free online digging game starring Gearbo, the black and tan Rottweiler puppy who guards the Pixel’N’Code Factory. He wears a blue studded collar with a sparkling gem tag, his tongue is always out, and he has buried a lot of bones. When he is not playing tug-of-war with his best friend Finn, he is underground hunting for his stash. Your job is to help him find it. Every level hides a set of bones somewhere in the dirt, and Gearbo needs to dig up enough of them to reach the target before he heads home to his doghouse.

The game plays in a classic side view, like looking into an ant farm. Gearbo tunnels through the ground one square at a time, leaving open passages behind him as he goes. Buried bones give themselves away with a slow, gentle twinkle, so sharp eyes pay off. Find the target, keep digging for extra bones and treats if you are feeling brave, then bring Gearbo home to clear the level and earn a bonus for every second left on the clock.

Bark, Dodge, and Outsmart the Moles

Gearbo is not alone down there. Moles roam the tunnels, and they would love to bump into him. Every bump costs one of Gearbo’s paws and sends him back home to try again. His best defense is his bark. One good bark scares nearby moles away for a few seconds, but it needs a moment to recharge, so timing matters. Learning when to bark, when to run, and when to dig a fresh tunnel around trouble is what turns a good digger into a great one.

As the levels go on, things get trickier. Some moles get bolder and faster, some can dig right through the dirt, and a few have a habit of stealing bones that do not belong to them. Bonus treats pop up along the way, including gear chew toys, Finn’s tug rope, and shiny golden bones, and each one is worth grabbing if you can get there in time.

The Deeper You Dig, the Stranger It Gets

Gearbo Digs! is built around one simple question: how deep can you go? Every level is generated fresh, so no two digs are ever the same, and new surprises join the game as you get further down. The ground itself starts to fight back, the Factory’s old pipes have secrets of their own, and some levels plunge Gearbo into darkness with only a small circle of light around him. Each new twist arrives with a quick introduction, so you always know what you are up against, even if you are not quite ready for it.

Keep an eye out for special visitors, too. A certain button-loving bug from the Factory has been known to drop by and press his famous red button, and nobody ever knows what will happen next. Some levels are a well-earned treat, while others are far less friendly.

Dig deep enough and you will meet the bosses. Each one is bigger, tougher, and smarter than the moles before it, and each needs its own strategy to beat. Barking alone will not always be enough. You will need to read their moves, find the right moment, and keep Gearbo’s paws safe while you do it. Beat a boss and it leaves behind a pile of golden bones and a big boost to your score. Who they are and where they are waiting is something you will have to discover for yourself.

Endless Levels, Saved Runs, and a Top 100 Leaderboard

There is no final level in Gearbo Digs! The game keeps going as long as you do. Gearbo starts every run with five paws, special Factory deliveries drop extra paws from the sky every few levels, and every run gets one continue for when things go wrong. Running out of time costs a paw and gives you another try at the same level, so the run only ends when Gearbo is truly out of paws or when you decide to stop.

Because the levels never end, your progress saves automatically as you play. Use Save and Quit to take a break and come back later right where you left off, with a separate saved run for Easy, Normal, and Hard. When a run finally ends, your score can earn a spot on the Top 100 high scores for that difficulty, along with the level you reached. No account is needed. Just pick a nickname and show everyone how deep you dug.
